Mesa County Bilingual Employment Workshop Series 2016
For the second year in a row, the Mesa County Central Library will host the “Bilingual Employment Workshop Series.” In 2015, Lowe’s and the Mesa County Library system sponsored the event. This year, we are happy to have extended support from the Mesa County Libraries, Hispanic Affairs Project, Western Colorado Latino Chamber of Commerce, and the Western Colorado Human Resource Association.
The workshops are presented in Spanish and English, with the primary audience being those who speak Spanish as their primary language. The main purpose of these workshops is to help the Mesa County community learn how to successfully navigate the application, resume and interview phases of searching for a new career. Lowe’s, as a primary sponsor of this event, will also inform attendees how area Lowe’s stores are an employer of choice for those who speak Spanish.
