The primary purpose of this role is to execute timely, effective, and efficient inventory execution plans for assigned products, reconcile resultant orders with the expected plan results and, and monitor and reconcile inventory imbalances within the store and distribution networks. This includes responsibility for the accurate and timely execution of the replenishment plans and inventory strategies and achieving the targeted in-stock metrics.

  • Creates and maintains Replenishment Programs (RPs) for assigned categories/vendors
  • Performs all order creation
  • Performs all order monitoring/tracking
  • Monitors RPCU Exceptions on a weekly basis and takes action as needed
  • Researches and resolves items below tab in-stock targets
  • Initiates and responds to store/vendor inquiries (phone or email) regarding orders
  • Monitors and resolves inventory imbalances in the store or distribution networks
  • Staffs the Emergency Command Center as needed

Required Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Retail Operations

Preferred Education/Experience:
  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field
  • 1+ years of Experience:
    • With process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
    • Communicating/presenting, verbally and in writing
    • Utilizing and incorporating data into a project or assignment
    • Customer Service experience
