Job Summary: The ADC
Support Coach is the subject matter expert and is directly responsible for monitoring
and supporting the operation of the Appliance Distribution Center 3290. The
coach is the primary point of contact for ADC/Lowe’s leadership and is
responsible for monitoring and mentoring the ADC Clerk team member. The Coach
is responsible for inventory control, quality assurance, resolving emergent
issues, special projects and relationship management of the third-party
logistics operated (NFI) Appliance Distribution Center. The coach is responsible
for resolving store claims, reconciling weekly PAR billing, influencing a
strong safety culture, organizing damage reduction initiatives, as well as
assisting with the organization, execution and reconciliation of the ADC annual
inventory.



Daily
Responsibilities



Start-Up



1)
Check-in with ADC Clerk for daily status update
on ADC 3290 support.



2)
Review voicemails and emails and resolve all
emergent issues.



3)
Review ADC Daily Reporting and ADC Daily Stats
to determine appropriate level of action.



Inventory



4)
Create the inventory snapshot (Monday) and
research discrepancies.



a.
Make HOST adjustments as necessary.



b.
Email vendor RRA’s to RRARequest@Lowes.com



c.
Coordinate DC to DC RRA’s with the shipping
DC/CHF.



5)
Review the $750 Holding Account Report &
Weekly Holding Account Balance and research all > $5,000.



6)
Create PAR Billing Report from Document Direct
(Monday) and research receiving discrepancies with 3PL from previous fiscal
week.



7)
Research SOS performance issues with 3PL/ADC
Clerk and provide feedback to Network Optimization Development Managers, ATM on
progress.



Customer
Service



8)
Handle escalated NFI inquiries from the NFI
leadership team.



9)
Respond to store leadership concerns on delayed
customer special orders.



10)
Assist corporate ADC team on inquiries, projects
or initiatives.



11)
Handle store and ADC phone calls as necessary.



Damages



12)
Review the damage feedback from the ADC/Stores.



13)
Determine if units should be salvaged/sellable
as scratch and dent.



14)
Determine appropriate store credit for minimally
damaged freight at the ADC.



Weekly

Share 21 Day Forecast with NFI GM, Ops Manager,
Transportation Leadership team.

Weekly ADC support status update to RTM, ATM,
Network Managers/Directors.



Store
Claims



2)
Create and email previous FW Store Claims Report
to ADC, ATM.



3)
Research claims with ADC Inventory Team and
Stores.



4)
Make store claim adjustments in HOST as
necessary.



5)
Report store claim research to ADC GM, Ops
Manager, Claims Supervisor.



Inventory



6)
Weekly Inventory Snapshot workshop meeting with
ADC Clerk and ATM.



7)
Bi-weekly Inventory call with ADC Network
Optimization Development Managers, ATM, ADC Clerk as needed.



8)
Review inventory snapshot and $750 Holding
Account and work with NFI to place items on cycle count position hold and
reconcile the top 10 discrepancies.



3PL
Interaction



9)
Schedule weekly check-in call with NFI General
Manager and Operations Manager to review key areas of opportunity.



10)
Availability to travel to the ADC each week if
required for meetings, research or collaboration.



11)
Provide direct feedback on all opportunities to
NFI supervisor team, Operations Manager and General Manager.



12)
Partnership with NFI leadership on BDC network
development, special projects and pilots.



13)
Attend all ADC network meetings and conference
calls.



14)
Prepare visit agenda and schedule bi-weekly
visit to the ADC.



Monthly
Responsibilities



1)
Prepare agenda and lead ADC Action Plan meeting
with ADC Clerk, RTM, ATM.



2)
Attend all ADC network meetings and conference
calls.



Yearly
Responsibilities



1)
Schedules 3 month out Physical Inventory Meeting
with Transportation Coaches, ATM.



2)
Emails ADC Physical Inventory date with detailed
inventory reminders checklist.



3)
Schedules 2 month out visit with ADC
leadership/inventory staff.



4)
Coordinates all “DC prior Inventory procedures”
communicated via corporate Accounting.



5)
Coordinate inventory start time with Lowe’s
Physical Inventory Manager.



6)
Coordinates Lowe’s inventory cycle count team
(5-10 Lowe’s employees) to be available at the Inventory for second counts.



7)
Creates Master Inventory Item List prior to
Inventory.



8)
Creates Cycle Count Position report the day
before Inventory.



9)
Manages Lowe’s day-of Inventory document “3290
Physical Inventory Owned Item File”



10)
Reconciles post-inventory results from corporate
accounting.



11)
Creates yearly ADC Support Action Plan with
partnership with Transportation Coach, ATM.



12)
Coordinate bi-yearly store visits with ADC GM,
Ops Manager.



13)
Develop Transportation Coaches in ADC
knowledge/processes.
