Team Member - Missing Cartons - NGI Area

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  1. Position will work On-Standard approximately 40% of the scheduled weekly hours.
  2. Service the NGI lines by processing rejects to resolution and perform On-Standard work (picking cases to conveyor and replenishing via equipment) as required.
  3. Operate powered equipment as required.
  4. Identifies non-compliance issues concerning Lowe’s Bar Code Requirements and printing labels as required.
  5. Identifies carton and loading problems.
  6. Ensure that the DC Problem Recording Form is competed correctly.
  7. Research, report, and identify missing cartons within the building, and investigate and resolve.
  8. Provide general support to Operations department.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Strong understanding of DMS/Missing Cartons and facility processes preferred.
  2. Familiarity and comfort in the use of mainframe, terminal style computer systems preferred.
  3. Ability to generate/utilize Item information reporting generated from MS Access Database.
  4. Deductive Reasoning – ability to think in a logical manner when assessing a problem.
  5. Possess a strong operational knowledge-ability to understand facility process, responsibilities, functions, limitations, controls, and common problems preferred.
  6. Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  7. Must be task oriented with particular emphasis on accuracy.
  8. Ability to work alone and remain focused a must.
  9. Good communication and follow-up skills necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Internal candidates must have no more than 5.5 occurrences at the time of interview.
  2. Internal candidates who have written disciplinary action within six months and/or final disciplinary action within the last twelve months are ineligible.
  3. Transfer date may be delayed for Team Members on an active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
