Night shift is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM.
Maintains the rolling stock and the buildings and grounds in a clean, safe, and presentable manner. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following: Performs all scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and the facility, Operates a safe, clean, and efficient shop area where equipment can be repaired in a timely manner, Ensures all safety rules and procedures are followed, Must be capable of performing tasks independently, Responsible for building and grounds PM s and repairs, Willing to work overtime as required, Available as needed for on call situations, Must be willing to perform task associated with heights up to and including 30 feet and confined spaces, Some travel required.
Job Requirements: Must be self motivate strong internal service skills. Excellent safety record. Be able to work flexible hours with overtime. Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact positively with co-workers and management staff, Experience with general maintenance, welding fabrication, hydraulics, puma tics, LP gas, diesel, and electrical lift repair. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong initiative.
Preferred Qualifications include: Bilingual English/Spanish, Experience with Yale forklift repairs, 2 year technical college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
