General Description/Purpose

Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies,

procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Plans and

assists with new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. Coordinates management training in

interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and fairness/inclusion. Advises management in

appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Oversees the performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers

salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization. Oversees benefits programs such as life,

health, dental and disability insurances, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. Conducts wage surveys

within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation,

and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Represents Lowe’s at personnelrelated hearings and

investigations. Supervises a staff of HR employees comprised of both exempt & nonexempt personnel.

Specific Duties:

• Ensures the recruitment, employment, payroll, and benefit programs are followed in accordance with Company guidelines

• Consults with the RGM/Management Staff on all people issues.

• Leads the strategic implementation of staffing, training, developing, and retention of all location personnel.

• Conduct ongoing training for both management and hourly employees as needed to support the Corporate Mission.

• Champions the Facility’s Safety and Recognition.

• Ensures all Lowe’s policies and procedures are implemented and followed.

• Ensures proper control of payroll and other assigned expenses.

This position reports to the Dir HRBP COO Operations, HRBP USHI Mgmt and leads salaried and hourly associates.

Physical Requirements

Agility: The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, or legs to perform job tasks. This includes the ability

to move throughout all areas of the facility, Lowe's property surrounding the DFC, or additional work areas.

Stamina: The ability to exert oneself physically over long periods of time. This may include performing repetitive or strenuous

tasks as well as standing and sitting for long periods.

Visual Acuity: The ability to see details (i.e., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs, video displays including

iPads) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

HandEye Coordination: The ability to coordinate one's eyes with one's fingers, wrists, or arms to move, carry, or manipulate

objects or to perform other jobrelated tasks.

Work Conditions: The ability to perform job activities, with appropriate intermittent relief where applicable, under difficult work

conditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, while exposed to constant/intermittent sounds.

Manual Dexterity: The ability to make quick, accurate, skillful, coordinated movements of one hand, one hand in coordination

with its arm, or two hands to grasp, place, move, or assemble objects.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

AND 5 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

HRCI certification preferred (PHR, SPHR)

Demonstrated experience working crossfunctionally.

Demonstrated experience leading/supporting a large team.

Experience in a large scale direct to customer fulfillment environment.

Demonstrated experience working closely with senior level leaders (VP and above)
