Workforce Management Analyst

The primary purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day operations of Lowe's workforce management programs. This position supports a variety of projects that impact store labor productivity and delivers analytics and insights to executive leadership. The Workforce Management Analyst works to ensure that leaders within the organization have the business intelligence and insights needed to make effective decisions and positively impact payroll performance of stores.

· Contributes to the quarterly forecast used to predict the labor capacity and resources necessary
· Identifies areas of opportunity for expense control and labor optimization to inform workforce management decisions made by business leaders in various functions
· Conducts analysis and data modeling used in improving store productivity and driving business performance
· Creates data models used in payroll planning, long-range planning, and wage growth projections to provide insight into the best utilization of business resources
· Uses engineering labor standards to develop store operating models, labor allocation by department, etc.
· Works with others on the team to solve workforce planning and management challenges
· Partners closely with HR and Finance in order to determine employee fill rates, hiring projections, staff planning, and financial planning

Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related field
· 1-2 years of experience related to workforce planning, data science, or data modeling

Preferred Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of experience related to workforce planning, data science, or data modeling; LEAN or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
· Experience using MOST technique and StandardsPro software to build and model industrial engineering standards
· Experience with schedule optimization approaches using Kronos Workforce Management solution
· Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g. MicroStrategy, Teradata)
