Sr. Analyst - HR Workforce Management

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The primary purpose of this role is to postulate business cases and strategic recommendations derived from analyses of program results, effectively communicating these recommendations and insights to a variety of audiences, including senior management. This position provides on-going program reporting to relevant stakeholders and regular status updates on all Training and Development programs and initiatives, recommending changes as appropriate.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates, communicates, and interprets employee research, analytics, and metrics that directly support execution and future formulation of people strategy.
  • Utilizes strong analytical skills and statistics knowledge in order to conduct in-depth data and process analysis to provide actionable insights and effective communications for key stakeholders at Lowe's.
  • Performs qualitative and/or quantitative analysis and strategic thinking to support planning, project management, and communication development at Lowe's .
  • Forms business cases and strategic recommendations from analysis of program results, creating recommendations for verbal and written communication to be delivered to a variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Provides on-going program reporting and regular status updates for all Training and Development programs and initiatives to relevant stakeholders, recommending changes as appropriate.
  • Maintains ability to overlook symptoms in order to determine the underlying causes of problems and issues with the workforce at Lowe's.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration or related field
  • 1 to 3 years experience in workforce analytics, research, resource management, and/or talent forecasting

PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration or related field
  • 3+ years experience in workforce analytics, research, resource management, and/or talent forecasting; Experience in a corporate HR function with responsibility to roll out processes at the enterprise level; Experience in a large Fortune 100 company and/or retail is highly desired
