Services Sr Analyst

The Senior Services Analyst is primarily responsible for executing complex performance and business analysis in order to manage day-to-day inquiries related to the Services organization.

The Senior Services Analyst will also have primary responsibility for maintaining quarterly sales and monthly expense forecasts, completing program design and analysis work, and supporting Services programs through performance monitoring.

To accomplish this, the Senior Services Analyst must have intermediate knowledge of Data Analytics, specialty sales and services, business management, finance, merchandising, and marketing and promotions.

The Senior Services Analyst will collaborate directly with Services, Outside Sales, FP&A, Merchandising, Services Platform, and Accounting in order to successfully maintain sales and profitability goals of the Services organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Program Performance Monitoring
•Oversees reporting to Sales and Service management teams to evaluate overall state of Services business
•Conducts root cause analysis on new and on-going Services programs to ensure success and evaluate ROI
•Identifies and recommends system/process/program improvement opportunities based on detailed analytics and knowledge of business area
•Collaborates across organizations to provide additional insights regarding advertising, promotions, program benefits, pricing, and profitability of Services programs
•Monitors and provides guidance on Services Provider Performance, Store Execution, and Customer Feedback

Sales and Expense Forecasting
•Conducts on-going analysis on major Services expense accounts to ensure expense forecast is accurate and within acceptable ranges
•Performs monthly expense forecast and inputs into STOT to ensure proper posting for reporting and performance monitoring
•Collaborates with Field, FP&A, and Accounting to resolve any expense disputes and ensure proper accounting of Services expenses
•Works with Director –Services Program and Administrative Management to forecast sales quarterly by merchandising and geography hierarchy

Program Enhancements
•Work with Category Managers, Program Initiative Managers, and Services Directors to identify programs in need of development and/or improvement
•Manages the execution of programs to include performance monitoring, on-going development, return on investment, and new program design

•Meets or exceeds customers’ expectations, looks for ways to improve their experience, while creating a seamless experience by understanding how the Senior Services Analyst role, team goals, and daily activities fit into the company vision

Required Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, MIS, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field plus 2 years of experience in sales project management, data analytics, performance reporting, finance or 5+ years of experience in project/process management or retail.
•2+ years intermediate experience with MicroStrategy/DART, MicroSoft Office Suite, and PeopleSoft
•Basic knowledge of Data modeling
•Demonstrated project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
•Master’s Degree in Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics, MIS, or related field
•2+ years leadership experience with strong project management responsibility
•2+ years’ experience in one of the following areas: Store Operations, Specialty Sales, Contact Center, Research, FP&A, Audit, Accounting, Process Management, or Merchandising.
•3+ years of demonstrated experience in analytic design, report development, and complex root-cause analysis.
