The principle purpose of the Sr. Analyst, FP&A is to develop and execute measurement plans for prioritized initiatives and programs, test and learns and pilots working in collaboration with the Group Financial Officer (GFO) team, Finance Operations, and other business partners.
This position will act as financial subject matter experts collaborating with GFO leaders, sponsors and business leads to build and update measures of success as necessary to reflect changes in targets due to updated business cases as well as provide performance reporting relative to those targets. This role will also be responsible for providing financial subject matter expertise for program and initiative measurement development.
To accomplish this, the Sr. Analyst, FP&A must have solid knowledge of finance and the retail business.
The Sr. Analyst, FP&A will collaborate closely with teams across Finance in order to coordinate analyses and insight generation to support the GFO team and enable appropriate accountability and alignment with enterprise objectives.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Quantitative or Applied Social Sciences or related field plus 4 years of experience in finance or analytical role OR 6 years of experience in finance or analytical role
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
• Master’s Degree in related field
• Experience in ERP and General Ledger Systems such as PeopleSoft
• OLAP Databases such as TM1 or Essebase
• MicroStrategy or similar data warehouse applications
• Demonstrated experience working with offshore resources
• Proficiency in use of mathematical, statistical, and analytical tools to model and analyze large quantities of data from business to understand problems and define solutions
