The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for all merchandise/supply chain planning activities for the product categories within their assigned business division. This job is accountable for the end to end ownership, development, coordination, planning and communication of all logistics strategies for their specific product category responsibility. Supply Chain Planners are the primary point of contact and are accountable for ensuring optimal resolution of inventory in-stock issues, depth, timing and efficient flow of inventory to support financial objectives. Supply Chain Planning includes managing the purchasing process, creating/managing inventory budgets/plans, developing optimal plans to support reset activity, seasonal build entry/exit, as well as, ongoing promotional activity.

· Manages end-to-end supply chain performance for the category with a focus on margin, markdown, and
productive inventory management

· Collaborates closely with Demand management to understand the forecasted requirements and manages supply
to achieve and maintain high levels of customer service while achieving inventory productivity targets
· Optimizes inventory holding levels within the total supply chain through a detailed understanding of the key
planning parameters and end to end processes
· Manages and executes merchandise planning strategy and Open to Buy (OTB) processes across all channels as well as manage vendor collaboration and compliance activities
· Serves as the primary point of contact to support questions/opportunities regarding store in-stock, inventory
strategy/levels/performance, and tactical flow of inventory
· Ensures day-to-day cross-functional alignment and execution of inventory strategies and tactical inventory plans

Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
· 5 years of Relevant work experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning, assortment planning or forecasting
· 10 years of experience in lieu of education.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree in Business or related field
· 3 years of Relevant work experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning, assortment planning or forecasting
