The Producer’s principle purpose is to support Customer Experience (CX) Design efforts by partnering with experience design leads to ensure that design efforts deliver Lowe’s strategic intent.

As such, the person in this role will have primary responsibility for coordinating program activities, people, and other resources against defined timelines. This requires the ability to envision a project from multiple frames of reference, to understand how design work is performed, to work well with a broad range of people with diverse backgrounds, and to attend to the many details of a project to ensure it runs smoothly. This includes understanding the needs of a design effort when developing meeting agendas, leading work sessions, capturing and distributing minutes, managing vendors, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the right environment and conditions that allow the project work to be completed successfully.

Another key responsibility of this role is to ensure project activities are aligned to intent. This requires a strong ability to translate intent to a diverse set of individuals and to serve as a communication bridge between creative and tactical resources. To accomplish this, the person in this role must be credible, politically neutral, focused on intent delivery, and possess strong people skills as well as an ability to influence without authority. He/she must be adept at spotting emerging issues or concerns that could impact the project, framing them in a design context, identifying potential solutions, and working collaboratively to successfully resolve them – at times with creative solutions.

The person in this role will need to thrive in a high demand environment, think on his/her feet, and communicate well as he/she will work closely with CX cross-functional team members and other functions throughout the organization.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Business, Industrial Engineering, Consumer Marketing, Psychology, or related field.
•3+ years of experience in or combination of Retail, Design, Marketing, Consulting with a minimum of 6 months in Design

Preferred Qualifications:
•2+ years of experience in Design or Experience Design
• 2 + years of experience in Graphic and/or Communications Design
