Planogram Project Analyst

The primary purpose of this role is to capture and deliver upon the approved CX presentation intent utilizing JDA software to capture and produce accurate Core/Template Planograms which are prepared through the evaluation of scope and micro space planning while adhering to Lowe's visual presentation and planogram standards. This includes responsibility for serving as an expert to analyze the POGs To Build Matrix provided by Space Analyst and the Project Handoff Document provided by the Visual Space Planner to determine the most efficient methods of Planogram version builds in JDA software, as well as determining or creating the most effective print layout that provides a visual representation of the set for the stores. This role is critical to Lowe's as it serves as an expert in support of efficiency optimization for planogram builds in support of merchandising projects.


• Interprets and translates a complex set of business rules, planogram standards and data and applies experience utilizing all appropriate tools to maximize planogram versioning efficiencies
• Determines best practices in order to develop new processes which translate to a best in class space planning organization
• Maintains proficient knowledge of JDA analysis and utilities reporting and planogram display methods which are translated into viewable layouts for the stores
• Develops all Core/Template planograms, from which all other planograms will be versioned
• Determines the quantity of Core/Template Planograms and documents step-by-step instructions that lead to the most efficient planogram versioning process
• Utilizes analysis to determine efficiencies of current project and applies strategy to supply appropriate Core/Templates to support planogram version build
• Presents and teaches the unique efficiencies for each planogram project via build team handoff
• Partners with Merchant and Visual Presentation Teams on overall visual merchandising objectives to ensure Core/Template planograms adhere to merchandising intent prior to handing off project to POG build team
• Trains, mentors and supports other JDA tool users
• Works cross-functionally to obtain information and organizes processes to ensure most efficient work flow and timing of deliverables is met


• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management or related field and 1+ years experience using software applications (JDA or similar space planning software)
• Or 2+ years experience at Lowe’s CSC or similar retail environment in Planogramming, Merchandising, Store Planning or Store Operations


•2+ years experience utilizing Space Automation/scripts to develop efficiencies in POG builds / analyzing data to build planograms and utilizing validations for accuracy
