Merchandising Operations Senior Specialist

The primary purpose of this role is to implement compliance standards and regulations for merchants,, Marketing, CX, Pricing (ODS), and other cross-functional groups to adhere to operational processes necessary to meet all product compliance data standards, business needs, and enterprise standards and guidelines. In addition, this role is responsible for the communication to merchandising and cross-functional partners, as well as daily support for merchandising daily operational needs to identify alternative solutions for issues and assist in resolving problems and meeting objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with all key stakeholders to manage operational compliant processes and data following legal guidelines to achieve Omni-channel efficiency serving as the compliance and support specialist for their category responsibilities
• Operates merchant support and related components to address issues from merchants and cross functional partners; ensure policies, processes and documentation is both maintained and current when changes occur as a result of updates
• Supports the merchandising division by engaging in discussion and identification of alternative solutions for merchandising issues and assists in resolution to meet defined organization objectives
• Analyzes customer needs and assists merchandising operations management team as they formulate/define scope and objective of assigned projects and solutions; consults with management to obtain project guidance, determine root cause of issue and resolve
• Provides daily support and exceptional customer service for merchants and cross functional partners regarding questions and inquires, working to find the appropriate solutions in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintains and executes all communication aspects to support leadership, the business, and vendors, serving as the subject matter expertise of Lowe's product data while adhering to established processes and procedures
• Communicates regularly about projects, solutions, status, and related issues to management through both formal and informal presentations; provide recommendations from findings to achieve desired project results or identify areas of improvement
• Participates in the planning and gathering of additional information and implementation of action plans for multiple special projects as defined by management; manages opportunity projects that are assigned following lean efficiency accepted documents and processes
• Participates in on-going training, developing a core skillset to be able to solve problems independently and determine the best course of action for correction and improvement
• Determines the optimal and effective sequence to accomplish assignments given existing frameworks to deliver merchandizing operational efficiency

Required Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree
•2+ years experience in corporate retail product/merchandising or related field

Preferred qualifications:

•Experience managing data or content, managing vendor/supplier relationships, related standards, legal or compliance implementation, process/project efficiencies or retail product/merchandising knowledge or background
