Purpose of the Role:

The Lead Marketing Analyst - Marketing Strategy will be responsible for support and development of customer-centric go-to-market strategies that influence purchase behavior and brand perception, deliver total company metrics, drive traffic, and optimize ROI.

While this individual doesn't have direct reports, he/she will possess strong leadership agilities, analytical skills, problem solving skills, and will demonstrate how to utilize, interpret and action off of data on a regular basis.The role requires a forward-thinking mentality, a deep understanding of competitive trends, market trends and media trends, and the agility to pivot quickly based on the needs of the business.

This individual will partner across the organization to analyze and size opportunities then leverage data and insights to develop actionable annual and quarterly strategies that ultimately deliver total company KPIs.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of marketing strategies consistent with the organization's overall mission, vision, and objectives through the use of data and insights

• Defines measures of success, objectives, recommends choice of media, and allocates resources so marketing strategies are effective, economical, and appropriate for the intended audience; demonstrates the ability to tailor marketing strategies uniquely for each channel

• While this individual doesn’t have direct reports, he/she manages strategic bodies of work and leads highly visible strategic conversations across the organization with executive leadership teams

• Adjusts marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions “on the fly” utilizing data and analytical skills; conducts post mortems and deep dives of how to improve marketing effectiveness future state

• Liaises with cross-functional managers to ensure that marketing activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with corporate objectives

•Requires deep understanding of each channel (mass and digital) and an evolving knowledge of channels consumers interface with regularly which shifts day to day

•Demonstrates the ability to pivot quickly and adapt to the changing demands of the consumer based on how the customer is voting with their wallet (financial performance) as well as how the customer is voting with their time (e.g. how the customer chooses to consume the media)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field
•3-5 years experience in Marketing or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

•5+ Experience in the Retail Industry
