The Supply Chain Inventory Recovery Consultant efficiently manages Lowe's return and recovery operations to foster customer loyalty, enhance profitability, and adhere to Lowe's value of environmental sustainability. By supporting an integrated strategy of Customer Return, Reverse Logistics, and Asset Recovery of appliances and general merchandise the Inventory Recovery Manager reduces costs and increases efficiency within the supply chain. The Inventory Recovery Consultant analyzes the returns processes and optimizes operations by streamlining current processes and identifying the best disposition method for each product — whether it's return to vendor, return to stock, liquidation, recycle or salvage.

Responsibilities:
· Manages the financial performance and risk management of a non-new inventory portfolio of non-new inventory across customer returns, damages, trade-in, and recall
· Optimizes recovery, building sustainable operational processes, and external partnerships
· Manages the end-to-end process of evaluating, proposing, launching, and running recovery and reverse logistics
· Develops, and manages new asset recovery channels
· Develops and executes project plans for the launch of new programs, features, and strategies
· Recommends and implements cost saving opportunities
· Partners with key internal and external partners to innovate in customer experience, operational excellence and sustainability initiatives Coordinates with a cross-functional team consisting of operations, legal, technology, business development, procurement, merchandising, analytics, and inventory management

Minimum Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field
· 3+ years of program management, business development or vendor/category management experience
