In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for leading and driving technology initiatives and projects that span multiple HR disciplines. This includes identifying how to leverage Kronosand/or application functionality more effectively on a global basis, and proactively recommending and driving process improvements and innovative solutions. This role provides support for internal customers in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, monitoring system performance, answering end user questions and partnering with Lowe's functional and regional teams to deliver enhancements to Kronos. This role requires knowledge of various Kronosmodules advanced report creation, integration support, business process design and configuration and data management. The HR Systems Consultant interacts with IT staff in order to resolve HRS issues as well as support HRS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. This role partners with the HR team, vendors, employees, managers and other functional stakeholders to analyze business needs and develop the reporting and processes required to meet those needs. To accomplish this, the HR Systems Consultant must have knowledge of Lowe's business policies, strategies and environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides technical and functional support for the HR Director and Managers for all HR and Payroll systems, including testing, training, and supporting the stages to upgrade, develop, and build a new process.
  • Oversees HR systems security, including, but not limited to, planning, implementing, and maintaining security guidelines based on criteria provided by management.
  • Creates and maintains custom interfaces between different internal and external systems.
  • Partners with other HR functional stakeholders to identify process and system gaps. Creates and implements solutions.
  • Reviews and documents processes and provides recommendations for new solutions, improvements, and/or enhancements to existing company or HR related processes and procedures via the use of technology.
  • Identifies and tracks system or related process issues including documenting contingencies that occur during the entire course for a proper audit trail of resolution.
  • Provides systems support including custom report writing and dashboard building, troubleshooting data and systems issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring system configuration changes are tested and documented according to internal audit controls before changes are applied to production.
  • Provides project oversight to ensure timely completion and effective resolution of identified issues.
  • Provides excellent service to ensure activities provide the intended experience for end users in an efficient and effective manner. Ensures deadlines are met according to established service levels/targets.
  • Keeps abreast of current trends in HRS and changes in technology.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
  • H.S. Diploma
  • 8+ years experience and the ability to create and maintain Kronos configuration including but not limited to Pay Rules, Accruals, Attendance and Scheduling
  • 8+ years progressive experience in report writing, querying and database analysis; HRIS ERP or database management, digital records management and training and system integrations.
  • 8+ years progressive experience in experience implementing solutions with ERP software.
  • 8+ years progressive experience in reporting analysis, supporting HRIS or related systems
  • 6+ years experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 6+ years experience working for a large organization and/or global retailer

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resourcs, Information Technology or related field.
  • 6+ years experience and with the ability to create and maintain Kronos configuration including but not limited to Pay Rules, Accruals, Attendance and Scheduling
  • 6+ years progressive experience in report writing, querying and database analysis; HRIS ERP or database management, digital records management and training and system integrations.
  • 6+ years progressive experience in experience implementing solutions with ERP software.
  • 6+ years progressive experience in reporting analysis, supporting HRIS or related systems
  • 4+ years experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 4+ years experience working for a large organization and/or global retailer
  • 4+ years demonstrated leadership providing guidance to cross-functional, matrixed, and global teams to solve highly complex work that is critical to the organization
OR
  • Master's Degree in Human Resourcs, Information Technology or related field.
  • 4+ years experience and the ability to create and maintain Kronos configuration including but not limited to Pay Rules, Accruals, Attendance and Scheduling
  • 4+ years progressive experience in report writing, querying and database analysis; HRIS ERP or database management, digital records management and training and system integrations.
  • 4+ years progressive experience in experience implementing solutions with ERP software.
  • 4+ years progressive experience in reporting analysis, supporting HRIS or related systems
  • 2+ years experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 2+ years experience working for a large organization and/or global retailer
  • 2+ years demonstrated leadership providing guidance to cross-functional, matrixed, and global teams to solve highly complex work that is critical to the organization.
ADDITIONAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to work independentlyand manage/drive multiple projects to completion in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience with an ERP system (Workday preferred)
  • SPHR or SHRM-SP desired
  • HRIP desired
