Lowe's 2019 Summer Internship Program offers challenging assignments to undergraduate and graduate students, enhancing their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The summer internship program begins with orientation in late May and concludes in early August. All internships are paid and housing is available for those that qualify. This role has potential for conversion into a full-time position for those that successfully complete the internship and upon candidate's graduation.

The internship will consist of a project-based assignment to broaden learning, experience, and organizational knowledge and business acumen. We are looking for people driven by potential. Education and/or Experience
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science or Business Administration with expected graduation date of December 2019 or May 2020.
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
Proficiency in MSOffice Programs (specifically Word, Excel and Access)
• Basic understanding of agile methodologies (Kanban, TDD) and toolsets (Atlassian Suite) is required
Strong collaborative, analytical, problem solving, innovative, reporting and communication skills, along with project management experience is required
Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization

Potential Areas of Learning
Enterprise Program Delivery (EPD) - The intern will support and collaborate across EPD. This role provides analysis to corporate projects and drives efficiency and effectiveness improvements. The role will require the intern to cultivate cross functional relationships with various business units and IT partners to devlop and evaluate solutions to solve problems. Some of the focus areas will be:
Intake Analysis - Advance visibility to upcoming programs/projects and complexity assignment
Operational Quality - Evaluation of project execution and delivery quality
Risk Advisory - Advise and report project risk based on quality, status and realization
EPD Maturity - Ongoing maturity assessments and maturity roadmap for EPD, including program/project support
Reporting - Provide enterprise wide reporting, including program/project status reports, clarity, weekly business recaps, and resource risks
