Work Schedule:

Planning Coach Weekends Work Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00am- 6:30pm

Required to work a corporate schedule but may be changed by facility management
based on the needs of the facility. Requests to be scheduled off for a
specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor.
Salaried: Generally scheduled for 48 hours; more hours may be required based on
the needs of the facility.
This position supports
the Facility operation, so schedule flexibility is required.

Job Summary: The Planning Coach supervises a high performing team
responsible for ensuring product efficiently and effectively moves through the
facility. By monitoring priorities and alerting the appropriate parties, the
Planning Coach can ensure that performance goals, such as demand turn, are
achieved and exceeded. The individual must also resolve inventory discrepancies
due to product not allocating, so that product in demand can be shipped to the
stores on time. The Planning Coach must monitor and receive calls from the
stores to field any questions regarding shipment dates of product (e.g., calls
regarding special order sales (SOS) or store order express (SOE)).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Monitor priority demand or
special orders to ensure shipment; review purchase orders on the yard to
identify any trailers that need to be received into inventory for cross-dock
opportunities Place inbound trailers on hold in the yard (not to be received
into inventory) if overstocked with product Monitor inventory allocation;
ensure percentage of building is allocated per performance targets Research and
close waves (product to be picked) that are complete in the database Assist
direct reports or Operations with any issues with product that arises (product
not allocating) Mentor and monitor team member performance; ensure team members
are executing assigned tasks accurately and as scheduled; prepare STAR
performance reviews. Perform or assist Team Members in performing receiving
packet audits. Assist Damage Coordinator (Team Member) in the resolution and
recording of damaged product. Review warehouse capacity, assign Team Members to
move product around to make space for inbounding product. Review warehouse

inbounding product Execute or assign Team Members to lead new product movement
projects that allow for efficient and safe product picking. Prepare shift turn
over documentation

Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Take calls from stores requesting
information or when issue has escalated Review receiving schedule created by
direct reports Prepare direct reports for upward promotion Provide team access
to training to learn other roles (backfilling purposes) Prioritize DC to DC
shipments. Coordinate the allocation of product and ready the shipment by
setting up the DMS system to stage product at the appropriate shipping door;
notify operation coaches of shipment Prepare shift turn over documentation

Required Qualifications: Proven record for complying with safety requirements, and
ability to build a culture of safety among subordinates and peers Demonstrated
leadership and supervisory experience; successfully manages multiple tasks
simultaneously. Demonstrated team-building skills Ability to build rapport and
trust with others Experience and willingness to mentor and coach others Ability
to resolve interpersonal conflicts among team members Analytical and
troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving
Basic computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to work
independently as well as with a team Strong communication and people skills
Approaches change optimistically; adjusts quickly and proficiently to changing
work assignments Education: Required-High school diploma or GED equivalent with
at least 2-4 years related experience 4-year college degree or equivalent
experience is preferred.
