Job Summary
The primary function of the Operations Training Coach is to coordinate training programs for the location Associates population and track the completion of these training programs. This position will support the development of strategic training plans that will allow for effective allocation of people resources for the location. This person must have knowledge of all position functions and associated HR policies, approaches, and environmental constraints. This role will own work related to on-boarding, training, and a variety of activities to support local site operations. These activities include maintaining all physical documents and records at the location, planning and supporting associate, and distributing work items (e.g. vests, name badges, devices, tools and equipment).

Primary Responsibilities
Promotes the value of the function and focuses on delivering business outcomes through making best use of the entire function.Works closely with Location Leadership in order to align strategy with business plans and help implement within their specific location.Facilitates training and qualifies all employees to perform necessary tasks in the facility. Responsible for ensuring that all employees are trained on safety, tasks, equipment, new initiatives, and leadership coaching.Provide input on career development actions for Performance Instructors (PI's)Provide SME input consistent with training procedures and process across all operational shifts.Oversee the facilitation and issuing of any required licenses. Maintains job aids and posts job aids at specific locations.Monitors and evaluates On-the-Job Training Instructors (OJTI) to assess their effectiveness of training others for a particular position.Ensures safety awareness is understood throughout the building.Coaches and develops new hires.Ensures training files are maintained according to Lowe’s compliance of all administrative records (e.g., hiring requisition, employee, driver files if applicable) and signage.Partners with Operations to improve performance standards for new hires in timely manner.Work directly with the Corporate Standard Work team to standardize processes across the network.Supports new associate onboarding by helping with or facilitating new employee orientation and other administrative tasks involved in the onboarding process.Participate on Communication Plan Team.Monitors, tracks, and schedules training and maintenance of appropriate licenses (e.g., cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), OSHA, power equipment, and vendor training).Assists site with tracking and administration of compliance activities such as first aid and spill kits, and health and safety activities and processes.Supports people leaders with input on employees including seasonal conversion, transfers, and moves as appropriate.As directed, supports site leadership by generating, distributing, and maintaining business related reporting.Follows up with site leadership and associates on exception-based activities to improve compliance and execution.Assists site leadership in clerical, administrative and transactional activities as directed. Facilitates training and qualifies all employees to perform necessary tasks in the facility. Responsible for ensuring that all employees are trained on safety, tasks, equipment, new initiatives, and leadership coaching.The skill to write, present, and listen effectively.
