Job Summary:

The Sr. Technical Artist oversees and provides guidance to a team of 3D artists focused on 3D modeling while leading efforts with 3D artwork for VR and AR applications. The role will plan and build content pipelines for 3D asset creation and 3D scan processing while using diverse programming skills with scripting languages such as Mel and Python, as well as Maya.

Essential Responsibilities:

-Lead and provide oversight to 3D artists
-Build tools and procedures for processing of 3D scans
-Collaborate with artists and engineers in developing a 3Dcontent pipeline for AR/VR software
-Improve 3D scanning processes and workflow to generate a high volume of highquality 3D scans
-Develop new and novel techniques for generating a large library of 3D scans
-Develop project plan and necessary techniques to provide guidance to the3D artists

Minimum Qualifications:

-5+ years developing 3d content pipelines
-A Bachelor's degree in art or engineering or equivalent experience
-Demonstrated proficiency with Maya
-Experience with 3d scanning and best practices for processing the datainto useable assets
-Demonstrated experience with photogrammetry 3d scanning
-Success with effectively and quickly building relationships andestablishing trust among team members and peers
-Comfortable with asserting opinions but is open tofeedback and differing perspectives

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience mentoring and/or leading artists
-Experience with 3D Interaction Design
-Experience working with shipped game products or other related mobileproducts
-Experience in game production on various platforms and devices (iOS,Android, etc)
