Job Summary:

Lowe's Innovation Labs Events and Facilities Coordinator supports and assists with the
planning, development and execution of key meetings and events for both internal and external audiences. This position will manage various meeting elements to support the overall strategic meeting management of events to achieve the plan goals for each project.


Additionally, the Events and Facilities Coordinator will provide logistical support for a dedicated Innovation Lab location to include management of equipment and supplies, travel scheduling and expense reconciliation, purchasing and invoice reconciliation,
and calendar scheduling for key leadership roles.

-Oversee all facilities related matters for the office location, including building access, equipment and supplies.
-Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate meetings, travel and events, interfacing with internal and external clients, as needed.
-Create timelines and project time and action calendars to ensure all deliverables are achieved according to set deadlines.
-Coordinate travel arrangements for senior team members and reconcile expenses within corporate travel services software.
-Develop and maintain accurate budgets. Manage invoices and post expense budget reconciliation.
-Negotiate rates and pricing with service vendors ensuring that all meeting goals and expectations are met within the budgetary guidelines.
-Oversee purchasing of all necessary services and supplies to support the Lab, and ensure invoices are paid and reconciled within the appropriate budget.
-Use approved corporate meeting management software to manage travel and event logistics such as lodging and airfare as well as conference or event registration.
-Develop detailed event documents and meeting agendas.
-Ensure timely, high quality and effective communication of all events, email, intranet, mobile app, etc.
-Prioritize business leader requests and manage internal client expectations.
-Manage within a high volume and fast paced environment.
-Balance tight deadlines and make decisions based on numerous levels of input while managing very limited budgets.
-Understand the complete and overall scope of projects and how all event components affect the overall outcome.
-Source event services and select appropriate venues and services that can deliver the desired participant experience.
-Create logistical plans for all event components (including onsite support plans, group transportation, etc.) and execute on those plans.

Required Qualifications :

-4 year degree from a college 2-3 years of experience with various Microsoft Office
applications

-Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse clientele and executive level management
-Ability to work effectively in a diverse, global work group
-
Possess a positive, professional maturity that thrives in a high-energy, high stress environment
-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting deadlines consistently --
-Excellent time management, project management and
organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, E-mail, and
digital/social media Strong problem solving skills (Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Strategic Planning)

-Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to resolve issues in an efficient, discreet manner Ability to work evenings and some weekends to support a global organization.
-Local and long-distance travel may be required on occasion.
