Ensures all Loss Prevention, Safety and Operations programs are properly implemented in stores to minimize loss and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of customers and employees. Provides direction and consultation during process rollouts and system enhancements to ensure proper adoption, deployment, and to ensure that employees are executing the program the way it was designed. Champions a servant leadership and safety culture within an assigned region to drive operational efficiency and financial performance. Manages expense account in assigned Markets to control expense effectively (e.g. loss prevention, payroll, safety and security, monitoring equipment, chargeable causality, cash short and over, shrink and damages). Reviews safety and security reporting, identifies root causes of trends, and provides specific and proactive direction to reduce incidents. Evaluates relevant shrink data from multiple sources to identify regional trends in internal or external theft. Directs major external theft cases in partnership with corporate ORC managers and Market Organized Retail Theft Managers to bring swift and effective closure to identified cases and to reduce loss. Coordinates and investigates all aspects of employee theft, controls losses due to internal theft, to deter theft and reduce days of dishonesty. Establishes a culture of operational excellence, where individuals are constantly challenging themselves and others to make things more efficient for the company and better for customers. Partners with VPSO and MD to identify store processes improvements to drive better customer service and increase margins. Reinforces the importance of policies and procedures that are designed to protect the company against unnecessary expense and potential liability.
